Designed as a 2U rack server, the Lenovo ThinkSystem SR650 supports up to two 2nd Generation Intel® Xeon® Platinum processors (up to 205W). It offers a remarkable memory capacity of up to 9TB across 24 DIMM slots, utilizing 128GB DIMMs and Intel® Optane™ DC Persistent Memory with TruDDR4 speeds of 2666/2933MHz.

For expansion, it includes up to 7 PCIe 3.0 slots with various riser options, including one dedicated PCIe slot for a RAID adapter. Storage capabilities feature up to 14x 3.5″ or 24x 2.5″ hot-swap bays, along with up to 12x AnyBay bays and 24x NVMe bays, plus support for 2x M.2 boot drives (RAID 1).

The server supports HW RAID (up to 24 ports) with flash cache and up to 16 ports HBA. Enhanced security features include TPM 1.2/2.0, hot-swap/redundant drives, fans, and power supply units, ensuring reliability in continuous operation at 45°C.
