The Cisco is a secure enterprise router from the Cisco 8100 Series Secure Routers family, designed to provide reliable wired connectivity for branch and enterprise networking environments. It combines multiple Gigabit Ethernet interfaces with hardware-accelerated networking and security capabilities for modern secure network deployments.

The provides 2 × 1GE RJ-45/SFP combo WAN ports, allowing flexible Gigabit Ethernet connectivity, along with 2 × GE RJ-45 Flex ports and 6 × 1GE RJ-45 LAN ports for connecting local network devices. Cisco specifies a 1 × RJ-45 console port for management and a USB Type-C 3.0 port for out-of-band management.
