This Finisar XFP transceiver module is designed for high-speed data transmission, supporting speeds from 10.7 Gb/s to 11.35 Gb/s for 10 Gigabit Ethernet applications. It boasts a reach of approximately 200 km without the need for dispersion compensation, with a dispersion range of -500 to +3200 ps/nm. The transceiver is compatible with ITU L-Band DWDM channels and features a tuning range of 2x200GHz.

Equipped with a temperature-stabilized DWDM CML™ transmitter, it is ideal for various applications including amplified DWDM 10Gb/s SONET/SDH with Forward Error Correction (FEC), as well as 10Gb/s Ethernet and Fibre Channel with FEC. Additionally, it includes built-in digital diagnostic functions, ensuring reliable performance. The operating temperature range is from 0°C to 70°C, and it has a power dissipation of less than 4.0W, along with an adjustable receiver threshold for enhanced flexibility.
